In a letter to me, dated October 14, 1991, Carol Wolff wrote, "Somehow, knowing that the name Bogage was once Bogechevsky and then Boguslavsky. . ." This iteration of the family name as Bogachevsky (sic) can be seen on a handwritten family trees provided to me Carol and by our Russian cousins. While I don't have any other details about the name variations, it definitely raises many questions about the history of the family.
