Talk:Early Life in America

The story of Lazer's marriage to Sarah Laden appears to be lost to history. Only the certificate of marriage exists. For years, Mike and I tried to unearth any document that might give clues to what had happened to her. Interestingly enough, I recently found her listed on an ancestry.com family tree as Sura Ladyzhinsky with her parents. It appears, however, that even that researcher had no further information.

Neither Lazer nor any family members of his generation ever spoke of it, and the next generation only speculated.
