Nachmann Josef
Information we have from family members indicates that Nachmann Josef was born in 1850 and that Croyna was born in 1851. Of course, there is no official documentation to support that. It is also thought that Khana was born in 1872. If Khana's first born child, Yisrul was born in 1892 as reported, then it is likely that Khana was indeed born in 1872 and her parents probably were born around 1850 as indicated. What confuses the issue is that Croyna's next child after Khana was Ralph, born 12 years later in 1884. Also, the ninth and last child of Khana and Nachmann Josef, Rose, was born in 1901, when Croyna (if she were born in 1851) would have been 50 years old.
If Nachmann Josef and Croyna were born around 1860 and if Khana was born in 1882, it is possible that the birth dates of Khana's children are incorrect. In any case, this is one thing that is not conclusive.

Khana
Information about Khana is mostly from oral history. Boguslavsky cousins who fled the USSR in the 1990's gave us this family tree diagram of her family. There appear to be some errors with dates, but it is otherwise accurate. Media:Khana_Boguslavsky.jpg
The cousins told us that her family was planning to flee from the Nazis and travel to Tashkent in Uzbekistan, but Khana refused to leave, saying that she was old and would be a burden to them. The family fled and Khana Boguslavsky Gershovich remained in Dnepropetrovsk.
At present we have no information about whether this branch of the family emigrated to Israel from Tashkent.

Ralph
The information I have about Ralph and Manya's journey to the U.S. is sketchy. A Hamburg passenger list provides a record of Rafael Boguslawski and Mani Boguslawski (ages 22 and 20) leaving Hamburg on December 30, 1905 and arriving in London a few days later.Estellesass
